I got this off of peta.org-

"PETA believes that animals have rights and deserve to have their best interests taken into consideration, regardless of whether they are useful to humans. Like you, they are capable of suffering and have an interest in leading their own lives; therefore, they are not ours to use—for food, clothing, entertainment, experimentation, or any other reason."

Fuck you PETA. Animals DON'T have rights, and they CAN'T have rights. "Animal rights" is basically an oxymoron. Animals can't comprehend, respect, or understand the concept of rights. Since they can't comprehend or use a right (without the interference of a human who can) they cannot technically have rights. Humans are the only animals that are independent of nature, aren't controlled by outside forces, and have the basic understanding of rights to which they can use them. PETA thinks animals and humans are on the same level. You can't possibly think that without being under the age of four. Like I said before, animals can't comprehend rights, "morals," or the legal systems that humans have to obey every single day. What happens when a bear eats a salmon? Do you plan on putting it (yes IT, not him or her) on trial for killing a defenseless fish? No, because it's a stupid animal and cannot take part in the legal system, and has no understanding of the fishes "rights," let alone it's own. Do you want to go to jail every time you step on an ant? Would taking precautions against getting stung by a bee make you some form of racist who assumes that all bees try to sting you? Animals go by what nature tells them to go by, not laws or rights. They don't have some government or religion or code of conduct, so why should we grant them the same rights and freedoms as those of us who DO? Everyone stop what you're doing; PETA doesn't want to hurt an animals feelings. PETA is full of shit. Man got to where he is today by eating meat, wearing protection from harsh weather, and experimenting on lower creatures.

Hippies will try to convert you from an omnivorous lifestyle to their bullshit vegan philosophy because they think it saves animals and stops their suffering. THEY'RE WRONG. Unless you stupid hippies plant and grow your own crops, you're responsible for the slaughter of animals, and you're a hypocritical bastard. Millions of animals (primarily rodents) get killed by the very same technology that enables the mass-production of your vegetables. So it's ok to indirectly kill an animal in order to harvest plants, but it's not ok to directly kill animals for eating? Why the hell not? What difference does it make if cows are being decapitated, or rodents are being virtually annihilated by giant machines? I'd much rather be killed to feed someone, or clothe them, then to be slaughtered for no reason. This is an example of PETA's hypocrisy. By saying "they are not ours to use for food," they're saying that eating animals is wrong, and basically pushing a vegan lifestyle, which in turn also causes "animal cruelty." How is it more holy to have an animal bludgeoned and left to rot, than to kill an animal for the purpose of eating it, wearing it, or benefiting mankind by intense research and experimentation? Oh, that's right, PETA doesn't care about humans. Then let me put it like this- How is it better FOR ANIMALS to kill them for no reason (other than to give jackasses a sense of satisfaction in thinking they're helping animals by eating veggies) instead of using them for meaningful purposes? The answer- IT ISN'T. Think of it like this, either way animals are going to die, so why not just stop bitching? If you'd take the time to pull your heads out of your asses, you'd see that animals are going to suffer no matter what. It's a lose lose situation, right? WRONG. Though animals die in both scenarios, one still benefits humans. JUST ONE. You might say that vegetables are better for you, but that's not the point. The people who wanted the plants were just hypothetical people of PETA who chose a path of hypocrisy and fascism by pushing their anti-meat, and anti-animal diet which lead to the killing of the animals they so mildly tried to protect, THUS DEFEATING THEIR MOVEMENTS PURPOSE. The other guy is just a regular hard working man who simply wants to come home to a warm meal, and he gets it. He never protested, he never bitched, he gets what he wants- delicious meat, maybe with some corn, or whatever. I think it's safe to say that the omnivorous guy won, simply because he got what he wanted without acting like a jack ass, and he never had to throw around any unsubstantiated ideology (let alone go exactly against it).

And why the fuck shouldn't we be allowed to experiment on animals? Since when the hell hasn't selective breeding helped further our understanding of genetics? Does the name Gregor Mendel mean anything to you shitheads? Not only has experimenting on animals helped us research ways to turn animals into biological factories to produce medical products such as blood clotting factors, but even for organs for transplants. Not only does animal testing show hope for curing human diseases, but animals are also tested on for soaps, glues, paints and dyes, and even for pet food. PETA thinks using animals for any purpose is wrong. Maybe that's why you hippies smell so bad. It's not that you smoke pot, it's because soap is tested on (and even made from) animals and you'll have no part of it. Tens of thousands of animals are also used to test pesticides. AHA! More hypocrisy. So not only are you buying vegetables which caused the slaughter of innocent animals, but pesticides were used on them, which were also tested on animals.

PETA spends less than one percent of its multi-million dollar budget actually helping animals. The group euthanized (killed) more than 1,900 animals in 2003 alone -- that's over 85 percent of the animals it received. In fact, from July 1998 through the end of 2003, PETA killed over 10,000 dogs, cats, and other "companion animals" at its Norfolk, Virginia headquarters. That's more than five animals every day. On its 2002 federal income-tax return, PETA claimed a $9,370 expense for a giant walk-in freezer, the kind most people use as a meat locker or for ice-cream storage. But animal-rights activists don't eat meat or dairy foods. So far, the group hasn't confirmed the obvious -- that it's using the appliance to store the bodies of its victims. That's right, the famous animal rights group is empowering animals... by killing them.

You'd think that the fact that this entire organization is founded on hypocrisy would be enough to steer you clear away from their bullshit. You'd be wrong. Not only is PETA hypocritical, it's considered a terrorist organization. President Bush affirmed: "If you harbor a terrorist, if you support a terrorist, if you feed a terrorist, you're just as guilty as the terrorists." Obviously he was talking more along the lines of Al-Qaeda, but should that exclude terrorist groups spawned in our own country? I should think not. Not only is PETA known for its fanatics who love throwing paint on old ladies with fur coats, but they also endorse terrorist groups such as the Earth Liberation Front (ELF) and the Animal Liberation Front (ALF). Not only do they commit terrorist acts, they're in league with other terrorist groups! Now I know there are retards out there going "But my religion says BLAH BLAH BLAH and that animals have the same rights as us!" If your religion says that humans and animals have the same god-given rights, that's fine, but also completely different. The fact is that animals cannot legally consent to anything a human could, because they're lower creatures. I'm not knocking your religion. If you really feel humans and animals are equal, then get off your ass and go down to an animal shelter, pound, or pet store to make an animals day. At least then you'd be following your religion and I'd have the utmost respect for you. By supporting PETA you're only supporting terrorism, not helping animals. You're using your religion as an excuse to support terrorism, which makes you no different than abortion clinic bombers, or the perpetrators of 9/11.

So let's recap- PETA is hypocritical. PETA is a terrorist organization. PETA is full of shit. PETA is a hypocritical terrorist organization that's full of shit. Nuke the motherfuckers.
